Year 6 Spelling Routines

Each Friday, your child will take part in a spelling lesson.  During this session they will learn a spelling rule or pattern, and revise five of the statutory Year 6 words. After the lesson, the children will be issued with a list of fifteen spellings to learn for a test the following Friday.  The first ten, link to the rule practised and the last five (in bold) are the Year 6 Common Exception words.
