Enriching Our Children

Enriching children’s skills beyond the classroom is vital for developing confidence, curiosity and a love of learning that extends into everyday life. Opportunities such as clubs, trips, outdoor learning, creative activities and wider responsibilities allow pupils to apply what they learn in real‑world contexts, strengthen social skills, build resilience and discover new interests and talents. These experiences help children form positive relationships, develop independence and broaden their understanding of the world, ensuring they grow not only academically but as well‑rounded, capable and happy individuals.

At Stoke Damerel Primary Academy we have launched our 'Eleven before Eleven' enrichment programme, aimed to ensure that all children in our care experience the wider world in school hours.
